Programme Description
The Creative Flow Programme is a 6-week workshop series designed to provide a supportive and inspiring space for individuals to develop creative skills while promoting mental wellbeing. Through a combination of hands-on art-making and reflective practices, participants will explore various artistic techniques, gain confidence in self-expression, and benefit from the therapeutic aspects of creativity. Each 3-hour session includes guided instruction, creative exercises, and group reflection, culminating in a final group showcase of work. Our workshop is open to adults (18+) of all genders, from complete beginners to experienced artists. The course will hold up to 12 core participants (14 participants max). Late course (or one-off workshop) signups will be added to our waitlist and may be allowed to participate after assessing the current core participant group. Why sign up? Session 2: Drawing & Observation Skills (Still-life sketching, using charcoal, ink, pencil; focusing on process). Session 3: Exploring Colour & Mixed Media (Colour psychology, mood boards, collage; expressing emotion). Session 4: Printmaking for Self-Expression (Hands-on collograph, textures, patterns; building confidence with layered processes). Session 5: Collage & Storytelling Through Art (Narrative art, layering text & imagery; developing personal stories). Session 6: Final Showcase & Reflection (Group sharing, discussing artwork, celebrating journeys). Some shared materials provided, you are encouraged to bring a sketchbook and your own preferred materials such as pens and brushes.
