5th > 14th February 'Beyond Appearances' Exhibition @ The Create Centre
The Beyond Appearances exhibition has been a great success. This is so in many ways; firstly, in terms of visitor numbers, there were a total of 357 people, of whom over 80 attended the private view on the Friday evening. This evening was not only satisfying in terms of numbers, but there was a substantial, very attentive and appreciative audience for the studio upstairs writers when they preformed their poetry.
Feedback from the public attending the exhibition was full of praise for the work and the professional way it was presented. Moving, inspiring, thought provoking, beautiful and strong were common terms in the visitors book
In terms of sales the exhibition was a success too, with six paintings and four pieces of ceramic sold. As our first partnership event with Rethink and Mind it was also a great success, with all parties keen to work on more collaborative projects in the future.

"A fine collaboration, allowing expression and allowing the viewer to delve into individual expression."
